
I have always been a huge fan of turmeric, and this delicious sweet and spiced cookie latte hits the spot! It is packed with tons of anti-inflammatory ingredients, and I promise you will not be disappointed!
A little treat after dinner…or if I am craving something sweet, it always comes to the rescue! It is cold outside, and I just love the smell of it and the way it makes me feel. You can use it as a mid-day pick-me-up too!
Just a little side note…it is best to use canned light coconut milk, but if you only have some coconut milk in the carton, that would work as well. You can also use almond milk or cashew milk, depending on what you love!
Ingredients:
(serves 1)
- 1½ cup (375 ml) lite coconut milk
- ¾ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp maple syrup, honey, or coconut sugar
Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan, whisking well to combine.
Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until hot but not boiling. Remove from the heat and taste, adjusting the sweetener and seasoning as needed.
I love adding some vanilla Stevia to it as well, it just makes it even better somehow! You can also use some raw Monk Fruit sweetener as well, if you need a little extra sweetness in your life! ENJOY!
